L'ASSOCIATION FAMILY
L'association a été créée en 2001 sous l'impulsion de Fabrice Lardoux et d'un petit groupe d'amis dans la cave du skateshop "TRIBUTE" à Corbeil-Essonne.

Sans moyens financiers les débuts ont été difficiles, néanmoins l'investissement sans faille de tous les bénévoles qui se sont succédés au cours des années dans cette noble discipline a permis à l'association Family de se développer et ainsi devenir une entité forte au service du skateboard et de ses pratiquants.

Depuis 2007, l'association encadre une centaine de jeunes élèves tout au long de l'année au sein du club. Le calendrier est chargé avec chaque année une série d'événements incontournables:
Max of Mini, Checklist International Junior Contest, Winter Out et surtout le FAR'n HIGH.
Malgré ce succès relatif, l'association fonctionne toujours sur la base du bénévolat.
THE FAMILY ASSOCIATION
This association was set up in 2001 and spearheaded by Fabrice Lardoux and a small group of friends in the basement of the "TRIBUTE" skateshop in Corbeil-Essonne.

The early time of the association was difficult due to the lack of funds; however, thanks to the unwavering support of all the volunteers who contributed to this project throughout the years, the Family association has grown and has become a strong body for the development of skateboarding and the support of skateboarders.
​
Since 2007, the association coaches around a hundred children throughout the year in the skateboard club. The schedule is quite busy every year with a serie of major events such as: Max of Mini, Checklist International Junior Contest, and more particularly FAR'n HIGH.
In spite of its significant success, the association still operates thanks to volunteers.
